5.4.4 At School

Discussion questions for safety planning at school include the following:

1. Does the survivor feel safe at school or on campus?

2. Does the perpetrator know where the survivor attends school? Does the perpetrator know their class schedule?

3. Is the perpetrator a student at their school? Is the perpetrator in a position of authority at their school?

4. Has the survivor told anyone at their school about the assault? Do they want to continue attending their current school?

5. Are there things that the survivor or others could do that would make them feel safer on campus?
