The Rape Crisis Counseling app is an in-hand resource for sexual assault survivors to navigate getting emergency health care.

It also helps friends and family advocate for the survivors as they go through getting medical care.

In-depth content also trains volunteer advocates to accompany survivors in their networks and communities and is being used in more than 20 countries around the world.

Our Mission

Our free and open source Rape Crisis Counseling app is an adaptation of the training that US-based rape crisis centers provide their volunteers. The app gives anyone with access to a smartphone the guidance they need to ensure that sexual assault survivors receive the emergency medical care they need. Guided by the Digital Principles, Code Innovation is leading a global coalition of human rights and women's health organizations in the co-design of the resource.

I was 18 years old when I was raped. In my country, police make survivors feel like what happened to them is their fault.
— Miriana, 49
