The Rape Crisis Counseling app (Android and iOS) supports survivors of sexual assault as they get emergency healthcare, anywhere in the world.
The app is also a training primer for volunteers to empower themselves to support survivors in their own communities.
Our goal is create support networks that demand quality health and justice services for survivors everywhere.
Created by a global coalition
Code Innovation created the app with materials shared by US organizations, including the DC Rape Crisis Center, Pittsburgh Action against Rape coalition, New Mexico Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs, and the US Department of Justice’s Office of Victim Services. We internationalized the content with guidance from coalition partners from East Africa, North America, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania and Asia. The app was funded by Code Innovation, our crowdfunding campaign and funding from the Imago Dei Fund.
